Cinebels is pleased to introduce the latest iteration of Klipsch’s legendary Heritage series, the Klispch Heresy IV.

Keeping with the trademark compact size of the Heresy, which offers the greatest degree of placement in the Heritage series of speakers, the Klipsch Heresy IV speaker is here, with modern acoustic and cosmetic updates that further enhance the replication of the live music performance right in the comfort of your home.

First introduced in 1957, the Heresy is a compact three-way design that features a 12” woofer and horn-loaded midrange and tweeter. Updates to it over the decades have created a smoother and more defined sound reproduction. In 2006, the Heresy was upgraded with the launch of the Heresy IV, with a more powerful woofer and a bi-wire network, as well as midrange and tweeter compression drivers, and featuring a titanium diaphragm for smooth and accurate definition. Building on this tremendous legacy, Klipsch brings newer enhancements to the Heresy IV that enable a more dynamic sound with lower bass extension.

The nuts and bolts

Drivers: The Heresy IV incorporates an all new K-702 midrange compression driver, featuring a polyimide diaphragm for exceptional detail and dynamics. The K-702 midrange is mated to the K-704 Tractrix® horn, to provide wide coverage and smooth response. The K-107-TI titanium diaphragm high frequency driver features a wide dispersion phase plug, for exceptionally even high frequency dispersion.

Network: Completely enhanced in comparison to its predecessor, and now utilizing premium components in an all new high-fidelity network. This means minimized electrical degradation, for true to life sound and enhanced power handling. The new network draws from the classic three-way steep slope design of the legendary Klipschorn, La Scala, and Cornwall speakers.

Tractrix® Ports: For the first time, the Heresy now features a rear port – improving low frequency extension by almost 10Hz, for room filling bass. Tractrix geometry allows for efficient, fast air transfer, which reduces port noise, providing punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port as well. All of this means less turbulent air helps, which in turn reduces port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.

Bi-Amp Input Panel and Binding Posts:

The Heresy’s premium aluminum input panel accommodates large, high-quality speaker cables. They’re strong, versatile and quality binding posts that provide bi-wiring or bi-amping capability. The quality continues with Audioquest Type 4 with Star-Quad Geometry internal wiring featuring carbon-loaded insulation, nitrogen-injected PE and solid long-grain copper conductors ensuring the purest signal transfer from input cup to crossover network to drivers.

Cinebels is truly proud to carry a speaker with the legacy and heritage of the Hersey. A fun fact – Cinerama, the parent company behind Cinebels, was founded in 1954 – 3 years before the launch of the original Heresy!
