A one of its kind speaker, the THX-5002-S is one of the only THX Ultra2 certified ceiling speakers in the market. Incredibly detailed and immersive, the THX-5002-S in-ceiling surround speaker brings a whole new dimension of reality to home theate.
These speakers employ dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers that operate in an enclosed tuned-port chamber. These exclusive woofer cones offer superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the drivers’ operating ranges, resulting in consistent bass response regardless of the installation or ceiling air space. A 1-inch titanium tweeter in a patented 60-90-110-degree horn that features Variable Coverage Technology, or VCT, allows the speaker to create precise imaging and localized sound fields.
An incredible surround speaker in its own right, the THX-5002-S is also timbre matched with all other Klipsch THX speakers, allowing you to mix and match across the in-wall, on-wall, and in-ceiling THX range to give you a THX Ultra2 certified home cinema experience customized to your aesthetic choice!
